Watch Italy's Parliament Live: Chamber of Deputies and Senate Web TV
This feed plays on its own official site, so there is no player on this page. Use the link below to watch.
What Is This Feed?
Italy's Parliament has two houses with equal powers: the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Republic, both meeting in Rome. Each runs a web TV portal, at webtv.camera.it and webtv.senato.it.
When Can I Watch?
The houses meet for most of the year, with breaks around Christmas, Easter and August. Debates of confidence in a government draw the most viewers. Rome is usually seven hours ahead of Chicago. Schedules change, so confirm on the official site.
Why This Feed Matters?
Italy's postwar constitution was written after Fascist rule, and it divided power to prevent another dictator. Web TV lets citizens watch that system work, including the hard bargaining it requires.
Common Questions
