Watch the Maryland General Assembly Live: Video Feed, Session Dates and How to Follow
This player shows the MGA Session Senate YouTube channel when it is live. When lawmakers are not meeting, it may say the video is unavailable, so use the official link below.
What Is This Feed?
The Maryland General Assembly meets in Annapolis at the nation's oldest state capitol still in legislative use. Its 141 delegates and 47 senators post live links on the meetings calendar, and each chamber has a YouTube channel.
When Can I Watch?
The 90-day session opens on the second Wednesday of January. In 2026 it ran from January 14 to April 13. The final hours, known as Sine Die, are a well-known Annapolis tradition. Dates change each year, so confirm the current calendar on the official site.
Why This Feed Matters?
George Washington resigned his military commission in this same building, handing power back to civilians. That history is a reminder that public power belongs to the public, and a live feed is a modern way of honoring it.
