What Is This Feed?
New Mexico's Legislature offers a Webcast option in the side menu of nmlegis.gov, covering committee and chamber feeds. Its 70 representatives and 42 senators meet in the round State Capitol in Santa Fe, nicknamed the Roundhouse.
When Can I Watch?
The 2026 session ran from January 20 to February 19. New Mexico has 60-day sessions in odd-numbered years and 30-day sessions in even-numbered years. Dates change each year, so confirm the current calendar on the official site.
Why This Feed Matters?
New Mexico is the only state whose legislators receive no salary, only expense allowances. That keeps the job close to the community, but also makes it worth watching who has the time and resources to shape a bill.
