Watch the New York State Legislature Live: Video Feed, Session Dates and How to Follow
This player shows the NYSenate YouTube channel when it is live. When lawmakers are not meeting, it may say the video is unavailable, so use the official link below.
What Is This Feed?
New York's Senate streams its sessions and hearings at nysenate.gov, and the Assembly does the same at nyassembly.gov. There are 63 senators and 150 Assembly members in Albany.
When Can I Watch?
NCSL lists New York as meeting year-round, and its 2026 session began on January 7. The busiest stretch usually runs from January to June, with the state budget due by April 1. Dates change each year, so confirm the current calendar on the official site.
Why This Feed Matters?
The phrase three men in a room once described how New York's biggest deals got done. Live streams can't reach every private meeting, but they do show the public what lawmakers are willing to say and vote on in the open.
