What Is This Feed?
The Senate of the Philippines has 24 members elected nationwide. Its Watch Live section and YouTube channel stream plenary sessions and committee hearings from Pasay City, in Metro Manila.
When Can I Watch?
Congress opens each regular session on the fourth Monday of July, when the President delivers the State of the Nation Address. Plenary sessions often fall on Mondays through Wednesdays. Manila is 13 or 14 hours ahead of Chicago. Schedules change, so confirm on the official site.
Why This Feed Matters?
The 1986 People Power Revolution showed that Filipinos could peacefully remove a dictator. Senate hearings, watched live by the public, are part of the institutions that grew from that moment.
