What Is This Feed?
South Korea's National Assembly is a single-chamber legislature of 300 members in Seoul. National Assembly Television, or NATV, covers its legislative activity, mostly in Korean.
When Can I Watch?
A regular session opens on September 1 and can last up to 100 days. Extra sessions are common during the rest of the year. Seoul is 14 or 15 hours ahead of Chicago. Schedules change, so confirm on the official site.
Why This Feed Matters?
South Korea moved from military rule to democracy in the late 1980s through mass protest. Its citizens have shown that they will defend that democracy, and the Assembly's public record is part of what lets them do it.
