What Is This Feed?
Switzerland's Federal Assembly has two chambers in Bern: the National Council, with 200 members, and the Council of States, with 46 members. Its website offers multilingual live streams of both.
When Can I Watch?
Parliament meets in four sessions a year, in spring, summer, autumn and winter, each generally lasting three weeks. Bern is usually seven hours ahead of Chicago. Schedules change, so confirm on the official site.
Why This Feed Matters?
Switzerland is known for neutrality and for direct democracy, in which citizens often vote on laws themselves. Those voters need solid information, so being able to watch Parliament debate a question is part of the system.
